International Health, Education and Development Division (Ukraine Project)
Current Activity: Since November 2024, the Dare Association has been assisting people of Ukraine displaced by the war by processing tax-deductible donations for the work of Yuri Mukhin and his nonprofit, Phoenix of Ukraine.
You can learn more about Yuri and his work by visiting his website: www.phoenix-ukraine.com where you can view details of ongoing humanitarian assistance projects and weekly art therapy groups created for children traumatized by the war.
Humanitarian Impact
Our support directly funds the distribution of food and essential supplies, as well as the staffing, supplies and space for weekly art therapy groups for children traumatized by the war. These groups provide a safe, comfortable environment for children to engage in activities under the supervision of a certified art therapist/psychologist. (Visit www.phoenix-ukraine.com to see photos and reports of the children and their projects.)
Recent Assistance:
- 150 cubic meters of firewood for winter heating
- Funding for three weekly art therapy sessions for displaced children
- Distribution of essential food and hygiene supplies
- Distribution of seeds and seedlings for growing food
